Biography

Married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren (the loves of her life). Loves traveling and has been able to enjoy many trips to Europe, the Caribbean, and South America. An artist who creates flowers, faces, and more from tearing small bits of paper.  She was featured in the Vierra Art Gallery and has sold privately, accepts commissions, and has a store on Etsy at www/esty.com/shop/flwdesign.

Cecy Caraza

Biography

Born in Mexico and raised in Texas, Mrs. Cecy loves to live now in the Sunshine State with her husband and her dog.

She is passionate about Christian Education and service. Experienced her first year as a teacher in the island of Saipan, Mariana Islands and fell in love with missions. She loves learning new languages and visiting new places to learn about the culture. On her days off, you will find her at the beach with her family or at a coffee shop with her friends. 

She loves the mission that ICJA stands for and prays to see it grow in the future.

Sarah Velazquez

Biography

Teaching is one of her greatest passions. She enjoys watching her student’s grow and learn throughout the school year. Her desire is to make a difference to those she meets. She is married and has a dog. In her free time, Mrs. Velazquez loves running, kayaking, snorkeling, or just relaxing by the beach. Besides loving people, she also really loves animals. You can see her eyes light up whenever she’s around them.

Biography

  • I am originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica.
  • I enjoy playing board games with family and friends, traveling and learning about new cultures, singing in a group or choir, and watching a movie that makes me laugh uncontrollably.
  • One of my aspiration is to write and publish an inspirational children’s book.
  • Proudest teaching moments are seeing my scholars persevere and accomplish a goal.

Jacob Kyle

Position: 7-8 Teacher

Biography

When not in the classroom, Mr. Kyle enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and camping. Solving puzzles is another of his hobbies; he enjoys Chess, Sudoku, and Rubik’s Cube puzzles. He also likes cooking and baking vegetarian food in his free time. He grew up on the island of Guam in a large family with three older brothers, three cats, one dog, and a pet duck. Growing up on Guam allowed him to visit many different countries and develop a love of travel.

Biography

Mrs. Hall has more than 45 years experience teaching English language arts in all levels from middle school through college.  The loves of her life are her son and grandson.  She enjoys travel, music, and reading.  She praises God that He has seen fit to still use her in educating young minds not only academically, but instilling in them His love for His children.
